Pleasant mature sheng pu-erh from 2004 from the YiWu area. This tea matured in Taiwan, but the storage was not purely dry and so it feels a little wilder the result. For a while, the tea went through a wetter storage, which is reflected in the earthier aromas and the darker leaf, which at times at the beginning resembles shu puer. However, with longer steeps, the bright origin (sheng) is revealed in the form of beautiful fruit aromas typical of the Yiwu region. The tea can withstand a lot of infusions, it has an interesting warming effect, thanks to which I would recommend it for the colder period. Cha Qi is delicately delicate but relatively strong. Excellent tea, of which we left 5 cakes for further ripening and two are available for sale.
