“Another tea from my J-Tea order. Very impressed with his teas. I’m super sick right now, but wanted pu’er and since I have plenty of this, I’m not too worried if I can’t taste it in all it’s...” Read full tasting note

Description

Available in 1oz bag or 1/2lb (227g) repurposed tea tin with Bourbon Barrel Puer Tea label by Dave Snider.

Do you know what is special about a bourbon barrel? It’s made of charred white oak wood, used to age bourbon, and used only once in bourbon production. These barrels are often repurposed in for their intense flavor characteristics. This barrel arrived fresh from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky with a moist charred wall of charcoal wood. We filled it up with loose-leaf cooked puer tea and the results are in. A fantastically smooth and rich, velvety and sweet, candy-like and brazen tea.
