“I didn’t rate this because I added it to A&D’s Dragonwell. It was a great blend, but I didn’t appreciate the lavender flavors. I really loved lavender sencha that I tried years ago in Hawaii...” Read full tasting note

Description

Of all the simples in the botanical kingdom, few hold such a place of reverence in the gardens and hearts of herbal enthusiasts as lavender. It’s graceful beauty, peppery fragrance, and potent therapeutic properties have made this herb a staple in the kitchen, bath, and medicine cabinet. In fact, lavender has been used for centuries to lift mood, induce sleep, and to relieve anxiety and mild depression. But, did you also know that lavender helps to clear stubborn acne, reduce arthritis pain, heal burns, and repel insects?

Infusion Directions: This basic recipe has so many uses! Use it to freshen linens, as an herbal air freshener, as a hair tonic, or as a facial spritz (try refrigerating it).
1 1/2 cups distilled water
1/2 rosewater (available in pharmacies)

Tea Recipe: 4 teaspoons fresh lavender dried and crushed
4 1/2 tbsp. fresh mint leaves dried and crushed
Sugar (or better yet, HONEY) to taste
8 cups of water
