This Organic Genmaicha Matcha-iri is certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries of Japan. They are grown with only natural organic fertilizers and no agricultural chemicals or pesticides.
Genmaicha is a mellow blend of roasted and puffed brown rice grains and Sencha that has been well-loved by green tea fans in Japan for centuries. The puffed rice adds a delicious popcorn-like taste to Genmaicha.
Furthermore added Matcha, it becomes mellow taste and its brewed water is light green color like Gyokuro’s. (Although Organi Genmaicha is generally a little less taste and aroma of Sencha, it balances the taste and aroma to add Matcha )
