White grapefruit is blended masterfully with high altitude Formosa Oolong.
Grapefruit, a member of the citrus family, can trace its origins to the West Indies. It is believed that grapefruits originated from a natural cross-breed between the orange and the pomelo. In the 1820s, grapefruit was introduced to Florida, where today, a majority of the world’s supply is grown. The fruit’s name describes the way it grows; in grape-like clusters on the tree.
Oolong teas are made from large tea leaves, and the finished tea can vary greatly in appearance and flavour. They are the most complicated of teas to manufacture and mastering the art of crafting them is a test of patience, skill, and dedication of the tea master.
