Description

Aroma: A haunting mixture of sweet chocolate with dark stone fruit aromas.

Flavor: Slightly sweet with a blend of dark flavors that are reminiscent of chocolate and ripe stone fruit like plums.

Review: Last Spring, we toured the 1,000s of Islands region that are high in Zhejiang Province. This area is famous for its green teas, and we visited a small tea garden. While touring the tea factory, a lovely tea aroma tantalized us. However, we could not find the wonderful source. So we looked and we looked. Finally we looked in a closed room. It was very hot and moist, with bright lamps raising the temperature. Covered by cloth were large tea leaves slowly turning brown. Right away, we had to taste this surprise. It was everything that its aroma promised, so we bought some of this black snail. This tea is reserved for the domestic market, so very hard to find outside of China.
