Description

This is a roasted and aged oolong. The roast has done a good job of preserving the strength of the tea’s flavors including the freshness of the leaves. Even after nearly 3 years of harvest, the leaves upon steeping turn a vivid green! The flavors have a rich depth with a good balance of flowery/fruity and nutty/malty flavors. The roast is perfect without any presence of burned fragrances. The aftertaste is long and very satisfying.

This is a good example of a roasted oolong improving with time. The tea having had time to "rest" have developed a "softness" about it that complements the roast.
