Light and smooth with a deep green flavor. This is an excellent grade for everyday preparation, or a good practice matcha for Chanoyu. Due to the entire leaf being ground into the tea powder, matcha contains a very high level of beneficial antioxidants.
Method: whip tea into froth with chasen (matcha whisk)
Temp: 175°–185° Amount: 2 scoops from chashaku, 1 tsp. / 2 oz. water
