Description

Straight from Yunnan to you (almost). This is like an old time tribute tea that would be given to the officals who needed a special thank you. Treat yourself like a king (or queen) and watch this premium tea age with you. While it is young, brew for 30 seconds per steep, even less if it is too astringent for you. Grown on Jinggu Mountain in Lancang county, Simao is a mountain for tea like Jingmai. What makes Jinggu special is the look and flavor of its tea leaves. The leaves are quite wide and fat and sometimes referred to as a White Pekoe variety of Camellia. This cake brews nice liquor that is free of smokiness.
