“Vegetal, grassy, fresh, and very light, with limited depth, and not much back-of-the-throat pleasant bitterness that I like so much from higher mountain oolongs. It’s quite pleasant, but not...” Read full tasting note
This spring season has been cold for a longer time. You will notice lots of Taiwanese Oolongs have smaller and tender tea leaves, including this Farmer’s Choice Baozhong. So when you brew this tea, please put less leaves than usual, so that the tea won’t get too strong. This Baozhong compared to our Competition Style Baozhong has a fuller and heavier body. If you, like me, prefer Baozhong tea with a full body, try out this one. Tasting notes: The rinsed leaves of Farmer’s Choice remind me some sort of herb. When I take the first sip, I don’t notice too much of flavor but a couple of seconds after I swallow the tea, a wonderful strong aftertaste show up and what a nice surprise! Please also smell the wet leaves from each infusion, it changes quite a lot. *If you order 8 ounces of this tea, it will come with a 10 ounce vacuum package.
