“Scent is a little fruity, has a sweetness to it. The flavor, too, is a bit fruity… maybe strawberries or something like that. Also has that rich brown flavor of Assams. Malt comes out as it cools...” Read full tasting note
This plantation is located in the western part of Assam, close to its capital city of Guwahati, at an altitude of only 158 feet above sea level. The area, which was first cultivated around 1880, is an arid ecosystem, which is a result of rather dry winter seasons, moderately humid-warm summers and periods of monsoon rain. The teas predominately present a medium body, but are all very well-balanced with a malty, doughy flavor and slight hints of spices and herbs.
