This tea is one of the ten famous teas of China.
It originated in the Anhui province in 1776 during the Ching dynasty. The unique characteristic of this tea is the removal of the bud and the stem after picking the leaves. The leaves are then carefully processed and pan-fried over low heat.
The result of this highly skilled process is a beautiful tea with shining green coloured leaves and a strong aroma with a mellow and sweet aftertaste.
