There aren't any tasting notes for this tea yet.
With the name of this tea, apparently, decided not to bother and called it simply: “Changtai tea pancake” (if to translate strictly). Aged sheng, pressed tightly, made with raw tea that looks like a white tea “White Peony” (Bai Mu Dan).
Taste is typical for Changtai: modified but very strongly softened astringency, giving the taste a special piquancy, a little spice, a bit salty and smoky shades. There is an opinion that tea should be enjoyed apart from the meal. But in fact, it is quite possible that such taste will be perfectly complemented by some kind of hard cheese.
