Produced on the mountain peaks behind the Huiming temple, near Jingning (Zhejiang), this green tea is made from Bai Ye, the same tea crop from which the well-known Anji Bai Cha tea is made. This botanical variety bears beautiful buds—light green and almost pale lemon yellow in colour—with very distinctive flavours. Its aromas of pine nuts, edamame, buttered asparagus, lemons, melons and white flowers are accompanied by a refreshing hint of salt. The ample texture of this tea is soft and slightly sweet. A green tea full of finesse.
