Grown solely in Ureshino, Japan, Blue Willow is the only importer of Tamaryokucha. This first flush tea is picked when the leaves are less than 1", leaving a slight curl in the leaf, allowing for a second steep. The aroma of the dry leaf is captivating and the infused result is a one-of-a-kind cup. The rich body coats your taste buds with a silky, seaweed base, balanced with a sweet umami encore. This is the highest grade Tamaryokucha and the flavor is completely invigorating!
