Organically grown in the tea fields of Shizuoka, Japan, this sencha is carefully processed and prepared to produce a very high quality tea. Sencha has a unique processing method where the fresh-picked leaves are immediately deep steamed before drying, rather than withered before drying. This results to the tea’s greener color and richer flavor. Afterwards, the leaves are heated to remove excess moisture.
