Dian Hong Gongfu, it belongs to the large-leaf Gongfu black tea and is mainly produced in Fengqing, boasting the highest quality (Lincang, Shuangjian and Menghai in Yunnan). The large-leaf tea plants are rich in polyphenol content. Theaflavins and thearubigins contents are high during processing. The quantity of lixiviated substances is also large after brewing. Dian Hong Gongfu black tea has compact leaves and smooth buds. It brown and lustrous with golden fuzz. The fragrance is fresh. The liquid is bright golden red with an outer golden ring. It has a strong and astringent taste. The brewed leaves are thick and bright.
