Countdown to Catching Up – Tea 5 (Counting Down from 10 to 1!)
After crafting the recent Green Pear tea & it having disappeared so quickly, I decided another pear tea was needed for this chilly weather – so I crafted this “Winter Pear” tea – a blend of Chinese Sencha combined with cinnamon, vanilla beans & vegan caramel essence. There’s even a bit of crystalized cotton candy (but not too much of it) to enhance the sweet flavor of it without getting TOO sweet.
This makes for such a comforting cuppa to enjoy on these chilly days – but it’s also a tea that is amazing as a cold-brew as well. The pear flavor works so well with the vanilla, cinnamon & caramel profiles. SO NICE!
It’s also organic, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-friendly & all natural!
organic ingredients: green tea, cinnamon, cotton candy (cane sugar & natural flavoring), vanilla bean & natural flavors
to brew: shake pouch well before opening. Use 3g of tea to 12oz of very hot water (175°F), steep for 2 minutes, strain & allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before you start sipping.
serving suggestion: This tea tastes amazing hot or cold! At first, I would have said that I recommend it served hot, mostly because I tend to prefer my teas with cinnamon (or other warm spices) served as a hot tea, but this tea tastes amazing as a cold-brew as well!
